I’ve started work on my first art book themed around water kingdoms. My goal is to put together a series of conceptual art pieces and release a book here in the next year or so. The first piece I developed is called The Safe Passage. Below are the preliminary value studies and first color passes of the piece. I will post more on the progress of the painting as it comes together.
