Pitching diaries 3: The Sleepover

Last time I talked about my current project process I talked about how I wanted to change directions. I wanted to work on something simpler, that I could really go after the art and writing on.

The new project is called THE SLEEPOVER. A middle grade graphic novel project about a group of kids whose sleepover party turns deadly when a monster begins hunting them.

I started pitching the book a couple of months ago to agents and the awesome news is that I was offered representation from Elena Giovinazzo at Pippin Properties!

We’ve been working together for a month or so now and she’s been awesome!

So what now? Now we’re looking for a publisher. And that process takes a little time. It also means that I will probably be silent on this process until something is officially announced regarding the book. So this may be the end of the pitching diaries series, lol.

I’m hopeful this book will find a publisher. So far things have been going very well with the project in general. I’m excited to share more with you all soon!
