Tonight was the culmination of a dream coming true, or at least one major step completed in seeing that dream coming true, when I penciled out the final page of Adamsville bk 1.
It was nearly a year ago when I started this process and was finishing up my final script for the book that I laid in my final page of pencils and now I can proceed in just bring the book to a close.
I’ve spent a great deal of time recently focusing on finishing this process and it’s so awesome to see it all stacked up there in my notebook and knowing that from here it is just about doing the work. All of the major brain work pieces are in place.
Just so you can see what is left of me to complete, here’s a shot of chapter 4 and chapter 5’s story setup in Manga Studio. I have a ways to go, but I can see the end coming very quickly. Lots left to ink and color. We’re still a few months out. But for tonight I celebrate the completion of one of the major steps in making a book… By sleeping my face off!
This week I will focusing a bit of attention on a commission that came my way but after that it will back to crushing the rest of the scene I am working on so I can get back to a good production level. In the mean time, I hope you all celebrate with me. The book just got one major step closer to the end.
