Well like I said I wanted to do early on this year, I want to try and do more master studies.\u00a0 I recently came upon the art of Jamie Jones<\/a> and fell in love with painting of his.\u00a0 Mostly because I couldn’t break the thing down mentally.\u00a0 I couldn’t see how he arrived where he did with the tones and scale.\u00a0 So i set myself a two hour time limit again and jumped in to learn.\u00a0 The top painting is Jamie’s and the bottom is mine…\u00a0 I hope you like them.\u00a0 And check this guy’s work out if you haven’t yet.\u00a0 It’s phenomenal.<\/p>\n

I recommend anyone wanting to learn how to paint to spend some time doing studies of other’s work.\u00a0 It really helps you see a process and is a lot of fun. When I do them, my goal isn’t a complete copy, but a tonal one.\u00a0 I want to see the broad strokes and see the basics of the detail of the work they do.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
